MISC: RETRO 45 CELEBRATION During the summer of 1976, actors—doubling as ticket sellers—began delivering performances at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. Since then, more than 1 million patrons have enjoyed Super Summer Theatre’s productions under the stars, according to the group’s website, and the community has donated thousands of dollars to keep it going. After postponing due to the pandemic, SST will finally get the opportunity to celebrate its first 45 years with Retro 45, a show built around songs from those four and a half decades of performances, presented by some of Las Vegas’ top talents. 7 p.m., $45+, Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, supersummertheatre.org. –Evelyn Mateos
MUSIC: NINE INCH NAILS We’ve come a hell of a long way since, “God money, I’ll do anything for you.” Thing is, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor didn’t mean that then, and he surely doesn’t mean that now—he has fought record labels, retailers and waves of irate parents to make his music the way he wants to make it, which is aggressive, dreamy, danceable and atonal by turns. Even today, with encroaching respectability threatening to tame Nine Inch Nails—name another hard rock/industrial-inspired songwriter who has won Grammys, Oscars (with his NIN partner Atticus Ross) and a spot in the Rock Hall of Fame—Reznor has kept the band dangerous, mysterious and unpredictable. In other words: Don’t see this show expecting to see Nine Inch Nails play the hits. You won’t know where they’re taking you until you’ve gotten there. Just enjoy the trip, as Reznor has. With Yves Tumor, 8 p.m., $120+. Zappos Theater, ticketmaster.com. –Geoff Carter
