Delve into South Florida’s past and present paired with a Miami inspired cocktail at HistoryMiami Museum’s Sip of History, a moderated conversation with artist, activists and community stakeholders from diverse disciplines. Hosted by a HistoryMiami staff, each conversation explores a different topic that focuses on stories from the local community. A Miami inspired cocktail, prepared by author and mixologist Gabriel Urrutia, will be served during the talk.
For the October installment, Rahsaan FLY GUY Alexander, photographer and curator of CAPTURE:A Portrait of the Pandemic, will talk with Marlon Hill about the realities of 2020 and its lasting impacts on Miamis communities. Listen as Rahsaan Alexander recounts his experiences in documenting and bearing witness to this critical time in our history, with a focus on its impacts on the entertainment industry at-large. After the conversation, DJ FLY GUY will perform a set with a guest appearance by DJ All Day K.
