The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is warning travelers that traffic on the Maurice J. Tobin Memorial Bridge could experience slowdowns on Sunday due to movie filming.MassDOT announced Saturday that filming will take place from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday on the Tobin Bridge, which carries Route 1 over the Mystic River between Boston and Chelsea.”Drivers are reminded they are not permitted to stop their personal vehicles on the bridge to observe the filming,” the department wrote in its announcement.MassDOT did not have any information to provide about the movie, including cast members.The filming is weather-dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.In late August 2021, Massachusetts Avenue Bridge was closed to motorists for the filming of a movie.
