The VA’s Pacific Island Healthcare system, based on Oahu and headquartered at Tripler Army Medical Center, is unique. It is responsible for overseeing health care for veterans not just in Hawaii, but American Samoa, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.
