Actors Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson mourned the tragic loss of their former MCU co-star Chadwick Boseman on Tamron Hall show.
When Chadwick Boseman passed away, tragically and ever so suddenly, fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe co-stars flocked to social media to share their condolences with Boseman’s friends, families and colleagues. Actors Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson opened up recently during the Tamron Hall Show on what Boseman’s death meant to them personally and how their universes have been changed by the unexpected loss of a close friend.
During Hall’s show, she addressed Evans, “I know you lost a friend and you said on social media that you were endlessly grateful for your friendship. How has it been processing this?”

Evans took a deep breath and answered, “Uh, it’s been tough. It’s been tough for everybody…it highlights the power he had [on all of us]. His cultural impact was immeasurable, not just as an artist, as a man. He bred an allegiance. He galvanized. He inspired. His legacy is solidified forever.”
Actors and married partners LaTanya Richardson Jackson and Samuel L. Jackson also were guests on Hall’s show and asked about how they were processing their recent loss. “I gotta ask you,” Hall said. “I know you’ve been very cautious in talking about Chadwick Boseman. You sent out a tweet, but I haven’t seen anything else…I saw all these pictures of little kids mourning Black Panther and it broke all of our hearts. How did you process this sudden news and was it sudden to you?”
THANK YOU @chadwickboseman for all you gave us. We needed it & will always cherish it! A talented & giving artist & brother who will be sorely missed?? RIP
