Celtics star Jaylen Brown will host a tournament for Donda Academy at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia after the basketball team was dropped from events in the wake of found Kanye West‘s anti-Semitic rant.
Brown, who signed deals with Kanye West’s marketing company announced Tuesday that he was severing ties with the troubled rapper following his anti-Semitic rant.
He joined fellow sporting star LA Rams’ Aaron Donald, Adidas, Gap, Balenciaga, Vogue and Foot Locker in ending their deals with West.
However, Brown’s termination of his relationship with West has not stopped him wanting to help the students enrolled at West’s Donda Academy.
The Scholastic Play By Play Classics announced Tuesday that it will no longer be hosting the basketball team from the Donda Academy, in the wake of the rapper’s anti-Semitism scandal.
In a statement announcing their decision to remove the team, the Donda Doves, from this season’s schedule, the Play By Play Classics said Kanye’s recent controversial statements and actions violated the values held by their organization.

‘Shout out to (Morehouse) for opening their doors to host the Donda Doves’ official 1st basketball game of the season. I need everyone in Atlanta to show love and support!,’ he added. ‘I’ll be in attendance.’
In another tweet he added: ‘Our youth needs our support more than ever if you can stop by come out Nov 6th to @Morehouse at 7:30pm and show love and support to these young people.
‘They have nothing to do with what’s going on and should not be penalized #wedontcancelourkids.’

The rapper was asked by Piers Morgan on Wednesday if he regretted the tweet and he said: ‘No – absolutely not, absolutely not … I fought fire with fire – I’m not here to get hosed down – that’s a different type of freedom fighter.’
He later clarified: ‘I will say I’m sorry for the people that I hurt. I feel like I caused hurt and confusion, and I’m sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the…
