Hockey is back in full swing, following a four-month pause to the NHL season due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 24-team original postseason, which included a round-robin and elimination qualifying round, has been narrowed down to just three teams remaining.
The Stanley Cup Final is finally set. Two teams from warm weather cities are set to face off for the Cup at the end of September, in what will be an end to an unusual season. The Dallas Stars won the Western Conference in a five game series against the favored Vegas Golden Knights, and the Tampa Bay Lightning advanced after a six game series against the New York Islanders. Both Dallas and Tampa Bay will be looking for the second Stanley Cup championship in franchise history.
Below you’ll find the bracket of the entire playoffs and the schedule for the Stanley Cup Finals. Results will be updated as the postseason progresses. Stay with CBS Sports for your Stanley Cup playoff coverage and analysis, and check out CBS Sports HQ for daily highlights and breakdowns.
