- Chip City cut the ribbon on a new Bayside location on Friday. The Queens-based cookie chain, which was founded in Astoria, opened its new location at the Bay Terrace Shopping mall located at 23-96 Bell Blvd. The new location marks the company’s sixth Chip City in Queens and its 11th citywide. - A fundraiser for the Elmhurst pizzeria owners who were stabbed while stopping a robbery has raised nearly $150K. More than 2,900 people have donated funds that aim to help cover the medical expenses for the owners of Louie’s Pizzeria — Louie Suljovic, 37, and his 68-year-old father — who were stabbed multiple times while attempting to stop a group of men from robbing a woman outside their pizzeria at 81-34 Baxter Ave. The GoFundMe organizers are also looking to track down the woman who was attacked in order to help her.
