Science Applications International Corp (SAIC) has received a mobility platform integration contract worth $78m from the US Navy.
Under the single-award, cost-plus fixed fee task order, support services will be delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Expeditionary Department in Crane, Indiana.
The scope of the contract covers wide technological areas, including research and development support and engineering, system engineering, process engineering, modelling and simulation, and analysis support.
The support services will enable NSWC Crane in dealing with challenges related to the engineering and development of integration efforts throughout a range of platforms.
By leveraging collaborative tools and processes, NSWC Crane will be able to quickly and repeatedly deploy sensors, weapons, communication and diagnostic systems for the Maneuver, Surveillance, and Engagement Division.
Last month, SAIC won a $171.5m contract from the US Navy to continue providing training solutions as part of the Fleet Deployment Training Program.
SAIC also won a $133m contract to provide mission engineering and integration services to the US Navy’s Maneuver, Engagement and Surveillance Systems Division.
