Corcoran said his brother was not autopsied, but was told he suffered a heart attack.

It is unclear if John, the owner of a roofing company in New Jersey, died in one of the same hotels where the other six were found dead.

His death comes amid a series of disturbing incidents in which healthy tourists have died or suffered heart attacks, many of them after drinking from the minibars in the hotel rooms of the Dominican Republic.

California man Robert Bill Wallace, 67, also died in April while staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana.

No cause of death has been published, but Wallace’s niece told Fox News that she got sick after drinking whiskey from the hotel’s minibar.

Miranda Schaup-Werner, 41, of Pennsylvania, collapsed and died in her room on May 25 after drinking a drink from her minibar in the luxurious Bahia Principe Bouganville in La Romana, 70 miles west of Punta Cana.

Five days later, Edward Holmes, 63, and Cynthia Day, 49, were found dead in their room in the neighboring Grand Bahia Principe complex.

Authorities in the Dominican Republic insist that the deaths are isolated incidents and on Wednesday hired crisis management specialists to combat bad publicity about the mysterious deaths and murder of David Ortiz.
