Kim Kardashian has paid tribute to boyfriend Pete Davidson‘s years on Saturday Night Live after he announced he was leaving the show.
Reality star Kim, 41, who is in Italy this weekend for her sister Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker, took to her Instagram Stories to share a plethora of pictures of Pete on the US show as he made his final appearance this weekend.
Comedian Pete, 28, remained in New York as Kim jetted to Europe and performed a monologue as himself about his time on the show for the programme’s Weekend Update.

Referring to co-stars Colin Jost and Michael Che, both 39, and Kim’s ex Kanye West, 44, Pete jokingly opened with: ‘Hello Colin and Che, and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye.’
While he didn’t mention Kim in his speech, he did reference his ex Ariana Grande, 28, who he got engaged to after two weeks in 2018.
Elsewhere, he joked about his race, saying people were confused about his ethnicity when he first joined the show eight years ago.

He said: ‘Now everyone knows I’m white because I became hugely successful while barely showing up for work.’
It comes after Pete officially confirmed he was leaving Saturday Night Live after seven seasons on the sketch show.
In a lengthy Instagram post shared by the funnyman’s friend Dave Sirus on Saturday, Pete stated that the 47th season finale show that evening would be his ‘last one’ as he thanked creator Lorne Michaels and the cast: ‘I owe Lorne Michaels and everyone at SNL my life.’

The video shared alongside the caption featured Pete hugging comedian Jerrod Carmichael, 35, after doing his ‘very first update and sketch,’ with Pete adding, ‘It’s crazy to think that today I’ll be doing my last one.’
Pete’s post was shared from his pal’s account after the comedian deleted his own Instagram following online harassment from girlfriend Kim’s ex-husband Kanye.
Davidson started out the emotional message writing: ‘This video was taken 8 years ago. Jerrod sent it to me last night and it made me super emotional in the best way.’

He then admitted that when he first joined SNL at age 20, he ‘had no idea’ what he was doing because he ‘wasn’t really a sketch performer’.
Pete went on to praise his co-stars, noting: ‘I knew I could never keep up or go toe to toe with a Kenan Thompson or a Kate McKinnon so I was super scared at figuring out what I could possibly bring to or do for such a historic, respected show and platform.’
Pete continued to reminisce about his beginning on the show, writing, ‘I figured since I’m a stand up I’ll just try my stand up and personal bits on Weekend Update as myself and I’m so glad I did. I got to share so much with this audience and literally grow up in front of your eyes.’
