Department of Education hosting career fair in Twin Falls

Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The State Department of Education will be collaborating with local districts and state funded charter schools to find people to fill numerous open positions across Idaho, including here in the Magic Valley.

That’s why they will be hosting numerous career fairs around the state.

Ideal candidates for these positions would include aspiring teachers working on getting certified as well as already certified candidates currently looking for a job in education.

“The educator career fair is an opportunity for individuals to really explore certified instructional positions in Idaho public schools and public charter schools,” said Bethani Studebaker, the Director of Certification and Professional standards with SDE.

“So these positions would include classroom positions, career technical educators, perhaps administrative positions, as well as pupil service staff.”

The career fair will be held Thursday at CSI’s Harris Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, click here.
