Joining the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer were units from the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard in a joint operation.
The US military’s USS Winston S. Churchill is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, and recently it has been conducting exercises in support of US Naval Command and Task Force 55, one of the Navy’s many task forces and strike groups. These operations have been executed in the Central Arabian Gulf, and they have been in the form of joint air and maritime operations. These operations are important, as they further develop tactics, techniques, and procedures for interoperability and are vital for future operations of a similar nature.

Vital Operations
Furthermore, Skinner said, “Being involved in joint operations such as this prepares us for real-world scenarios in which we will be called upon to protect ourselves and our allies, and if needed, eliminate any and all maritime threats.” The Winston S.
